Bauhaus style Italian chairs attr. to Matteo Grassi, 1970s

These Italian chairs from the 1970s have been manufactured most likely by Matteo Grassi and designed in iconic Bauhaus designer Mart Stam style. This is a revival of his S34 chair. The most striking feature of these chairs is very thick high quality black leather. The chair dimensions are H: 80 / W: 60 / D: 58 cm, seat height is 46 cm, and armrest height is 62 cm. The design is characterized by a minimalist, architectural form. The chairs feature a tubular chromed steel frame (very high end metal work), which gives them industrial elegance typical of Bauhaus-inspired design. These chairs will work equally well in dining, office, or living interiors. This set is in perfect vintage condition, showing light signs of age and retaining their original character. The leather has a nice satin glow. The chrome with no imperfections.
