Beautiful cutlery set designed by Tapio Wirkkala in the 1960s for Christofle. Cutlery set of 49 pieces in silver-plated metal for 12 people including: 12 table knives, 21 cm, 12 table spoons, 19 cm, 12 table forks, 19 cm, 12 tea, coffee, dessert spoons, 13.5 cm, 1 ladle, 21 cm. The blades of the knives are made of stainless steel, the handles and utensils are silver-plated. In excellent condition, with few visible signs of use and a very nice shine; only the ladle has a slight, barely noticeable flat spot on the bowl, see last photo. Christofle hallmark on each piece, knife blades engraved with the brand. Delivered in a new, beautifully crafted case. Total weight without case: 2.1 kg, with case: 5.2 kg.
