Antique carved wooden bench with green upholstered seat and backrest.

Elegant antique bench in classic style, combining a carved wooden structure with a padded seat and backrest in genuine olive green leather. The piece stands out for its very original asymmetrical shape, featuring an armrest on one side and, on the other, an integrated side table topped with a storage drawer. The front of the drawer is richly carved and equipped with a decorative metal knob. The padded backrest is surrounded by carved wood and highlighted by a finish of upholstery nails. The four turned legs and various carved details add a lot of character to the whole. The back is also covered in green leather and bordered with decorative nails. The underside of the seat retains its old upholstery fabric, visible in the photos. The piece is in good overall condition considering its age. The leather is well preserved and shows a lovely patina. The wood has some small marks, scratches, and imperfections related to use and time, without detracting from the charm or overall appearance of the piece. An original and decorative bench, ideal for an entrance, living room, library, bedroom, or a characterful interior. Materials: wood, genuine leather, and metal. Colours: brown wood and olive green leather. Style: classic / antique. Condition: good overall condition, with signs of use and patina related to age.
