Modernist Worker / Sewing Box 1960

This functional piece of furniture from the 60s is both a workbench, a storage unit and a side table. Its inverted U-shaped base in square-section tubular metal encloses a dark-stained mahogany-veneered plywood box. The top, hinged by a thin piano hinge, reveals the removable locker and two compartments. A drawer with a gold handle completes the practicality of this small piece of furniture, beautifully made and very well thought out. In addition, it is in perfect condition, close to new.
