In 1971, he moved to paris and then to geneva where he began painting in parallel with his job as chief programmer at the international labour organization. From 1975, numerous solo exhibitions were devoted to him in major european cities such as paris, geneva, copenhagen, madrid and luxembourg. His works are kept in many institutional collections, including those of the annecy museum and the british museum (london). Since 2012, the painter divides his life between kyoto and paris.
