The composition is constructed like an assembly of rectangular blocks, layered and interlocked, creating an almost architectural structure. There is a sense of fragile balance, as if the shapes are stacked or held in tension with one another. Colours and contrasts. The palette is understated and powerful: • cold, textured greys, • deep blacks that vertically structure the space, • and in the centre, warm golden/coppery ochres that immediately draw the eye. This warm-cool contrast creates a central focal point, almost like a core or heart caught within a more rigid framework.
