Pair of Chinese and Japanese Style Lamps

Elegant pair of lamps in the Far Eastern style, mixing Chinese and Japanese inspirations, typical of the Hollywood Regency style. Dating from the 1970s, these pieces are probably French, in the spirit of the creations of the famous Charles or Mahey houses. The lacquered sheet metal shafts are finely decorated with traditional river scenes, representing pagodas, vaporous mountains and stylized vegetation. The golden ornaments highlight every detail of the decor, from the base to the meticulously drawn patterns, including the elegant golden accents of the lampshades. A perfect balance between decorative refinement and glamorous sophistication, ideal for an interior looking for a strong piece with eclectic charm.
