Set of 3 Sedlak dining chairs by Bořek Šípek for Vitra, Switzerland, 1992

A distinctive set of three Sedlak dining chairs designed by Bořek Šípek for Vitra in 1992. The design combines a sculpted black seat with slender metal supports and expressive wooden backrest elements, creating a playful yet highly controlled postmodern composition. The chairs are also stackable, adding a practical element to their distinctive design. Characteristic of Šípek’s work, the chairs balance function with an almost theatrical use of form and color. The contrasting materials and asymmetrical details give the set a strong visual identity while remaining light and elegant in appearance. Condition Very good condition, with minimal signs of wear consistent with age and use.
