Maurer’s first lighting design, the ‘bulb’ table light (1966), pays homage to thomas alva edison’s first commercial light bulb.it’s shape shows the influence of the american pop culture that maurer had experienced in the early 60s. The light, in the form of an outsized bulb in chrome-plated metal and hand-blown glass. Excellent condition!.
