Pair of Louis XV oak wardrobe doors – 18th century

Superb pair of Louis XIV wardrobe doors in solid oak, entirely original, featuring a magnificent warm and deep patina, natural and waxed, showcasing beautiful craftsmanship. The simple and balanced lines, enhanced by long bronze lock entries finely chiselled, give these doors an elegant and noble appearance. The carefully selected oak reveals a rich and irregular grain and all the charm of ancient artisanal work, with its visible knots and natural splits attesting to its authenticity. And its quality. Its period wrought iron fittings and traditional mortise and tenon assembly highlight the quality and robustness of this piece. Ideal for an old home, a country house, or chic rustic decor. Perfect for being reused on an antique wardrobe or integrated into an interior design project (sliding door, wall cladding, headboard...). They are in good structural condition with beautiful signs of age and an appreciable charm. In excellent condition for their age with slight natural splits in the wood. A very beautiful pair of antique doors, authentic and full of character, combining simplicity, elegance, and history. Fortunately, we were able to recover the door frame.
