Old square trunk in wood, brass and leather - Travel chest 1920 45cm

This authentic old trunk is square in shape. It is a flat chest from the early 20th century. This precious and elegant trunk is made of wood and coated canvas, the fittings are made of brass and the corners are made of leather. The interior is sheathed in unbleached fabric. Two round fasteners extended by threaded screws are present inside - they certainly helped stabilize the contents for travel, but I do not know their precise use. In good general condition, I report traces of use, stains and scratches. The leather handle is in good condition. The key is not present. This square chest is small, very practical for interior decoration, it measures 45 cm width X 45 cm height X 45 cm depth.
