Authentic large antique travel trunk dating from the early 20th century (circa 1910-1925), evoking the world of grand train and ocean liner journeys of the Belle Époque. This flat trunk has a beautiful original patina with riveted fittings, reinforced corners, old locks, and remnants of leather handles. It retains several period travel labels, including one from the "Rond-Point Hôtel – Champs-Élysées – Paris, " giving it a unique charm and a true story. The interior is fully preserved with its original caramel moiré fabric lining, typical of high-quality trunks intended for a bourgeois clientele travelling long distances.
