Clément massier (1844-1917): great-grandson of pierre massier (1707-1748) who settled his family in vallauris on the côte-d'azur around a pottery workshop, clément massier will be the leader of art nouveau ceramics in the south of france. The massiers (jérôme, clément, delphin, cédric) are a dynasty of ceramicists who go back beyond the french revolution and who played a key role in the renaissance of vallauris ceramics.
