Art Deco soliflore vase, signed Alpho. Made by Alphonse Mouton in the 1930s-50s, in Saint Vallier (southeast). Art Deco stoneware reminiscent of stylised berluze onions from the early 20th century. Enamels of metallic oxides fused with light nucleation. Bluish tones, ranging to green and beige. Signed Alpho art stoneware on the base. In good overall condition, see photos.
