Iconic Minerva sofa by renowned Danish design duo Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, 1950s. Manufactured by France & Daverkosen (later France & Son). The sofa impresses with its solid teak frame with tapered legs and characteristic side armrest with upholstered cushions. The original upholstery is in a deep, dark green tone, emphasizing the timeless, high-quality character of the design. Good to very good vintage condition. The teak wood shows a beautiful, even patina with slight signs of wear due to age. No structural damage visible. The fabric is in good condition. Slight signs of age and use, no stains. The upholstery is firm and the seating comfort is reasonable considering its age. Non-smoking item.
