Pair of wall lamps Louis XV

Here we have a magnificent pair of french antique louis XV triple brass and crystal wall lights. The lights are in a rococo style with beautiful scrolling acanthus leaves in the back plate. The lights are a pair with one sweeping to the left and one to the right. From the back plate come the three scrolling acanthus leaf detail arms each leading leaf shaped candle drip holders and the candle drips are in cream. Each sconce is decorated with beautiful cut glass crystal droplets in different shapes and sizes.the lights are working with french 2 core wiring and each sconce takes 3 small screw in bulbs e14s. The lights are in good solid condition with age related marks, verdigris and time worn patina. The brass as been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish.we recommend that all electrical items are checked by a qualified electrician in your own country to comply with local safety regulations.
