6 “Mettlach” dinner plates - Old Strasbourg Villeroy&Boch

Beautiful set of 6 vintage french hand painted dinner plates. There are 3 different floral designs in total in this set 1 in red roses 1 in yellow roses and 1 with the tulips displayed in the center of cream ironstone in vibrant colors of green, red, yellow and blue. These were made by the famous german manufacturer villeroy & boch but in france and bear the floral decor no. 1562. Stamped on the back 'villeroy & boch, mettlach, made in saarland in 1950/60s, part of the "alt strasburg" series. This pattern dates back to 1947 to 1956.
