Cup and ball toy

A lovely turned wooden bilboquet, made up of elements in two different shades, a light wood and a darker wood. Its two rings, connected by the string but remaining slightly mobile in relation to each other, make it quite an original bilboquet! I had never seen one in this shape! The result of a lovely artisanal woodturning effort, this bilboquet is both a playful object and very decorative. It's difficult to date; the cord seems synthetic, but is it original. It is in very good condition: no chips, no cracks, the string is sturdy, the varnish is well-preserved, just a few rare and discreet signs of use (small marks from knocks and wear on the tip). It measures 15 cm in height, the discs are 9 cm in diameter and just over 1.5 cm in thickness each.
