Manufacturer: Meissen, Germany, 1960. Pattern: 'Indian Flower' in the highly sought-after and rare coral orange colourway (German: Indische Blumenmalerei, korallenrot / Indisch Rot). The entire motif is masterfully hand-painted underglaze with exceptional attention to detail. The flared upper rim (collar) and the foot are embellished with a meticulously hand-applied gold rim. An elegant additional floral frieze encircles the neck. Classic baluster/flacon shape with a rounded body and a gently flared rim. Height: 11 cm. Diameter (at the widest point): 8 cm. The underside features the authentic, underglaze Meissen Crossed Swords mark in cobalt blue (a distinct cross-hatched variant characteristic of select post-war or anniversary production series). 1st QUALITY (First Choice / 1. Wahl). There are absolutely no cancellation cuts or grind lines across the crossed swords. The vase left the factory as a flawless specimen. Additional marks: Hand-painted iron-red painter’s signature/number (52c 20) and pressed model/form numbers incised into the porcelain paste. Condition: Excellent / cabinet condition. The porcelain is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or previous repairs. The glaze remains perfectly glossy and clean on the inside. The hand-painted decoration and the gilding on the rims are beautifully preserved with no signs of rubbing or wear. It has been kept exclusively as a showcase display object over the years. This specific variant of the crossed swords mark, combined with the precision of the iron-red painter's signature, is a signature hallmark of Meissen's prestigious 250th-anniversary jubilee production period around 1960.
