Bronze art by the founder Jacques Lauterbach, signature "JL bronze" engraved underneath (see photos). Design by Alfieri Gardone, a sculptor who taught at the art school in Avignon and produced sculpted works, notably for architects and religious buildings. Composition of a serpent wrapped around a stick or a flower. The Lauterbach foundry was known for its advertising production, so this ashtray was likely created in this context for a medical corporation.
