Large vase Carstens Tönnieshof model Europa

Superb large ceramic vase from Germany, signed Carstens Tönnieshof, model Europa, produced in West Germany in the 1960s-70s. An iconic piece of fat lava design, featuring a spectacular deep red decoration with black nuances and a very graphic cord relief, typical of the Europa series. The marking under the base confirms the model 7740-50, corresponding to this cylindrical shape and its impressive height of 50 cm. The original Europa label is also present. A striking piece, very decorative, ideal as a floor vase or central element in a vintage or contemporary interior. Very good condition. Dimensions: Height 50 cm. Diameter 22 cm.
