Superb decorative wall panel composed of 6 ceramic plates, forming a large vertical composition of 90 cm in height. The scene represents a stylized female silhouette, in a composition with Mediterranean accents and particularly expressive colors: deep green, orange-red, and strong blue on a glossy black background. The relief work, contrasting glazes, and geometric graphics give the whole piece a remarkable decorative presence. Its aesthetic evokes the spirit of certain modernist creations from Vallauris, notably those of Roger Capron, although no attribution to him can be made. The panel bears a signature in Arabic characters, which can be read as AYAD. A possible Egyptian connection, particularly around the ceramic craftsmanship of Garagos, remains to be confirmed. Dimensions: * Height: 90 cm. * Width: 14.5 cm. * Composition: 6 ceramic plates. Condition: overall good condition. Notably, there is a small chip in the glaze at the bottom, visible in the photos, which does not detract from the decorative interest of the piece. A unique piece, ideal for adding an artistic and vintage touch to an interior, particularly appreciated in modernist, 60s-70s, or Mediterranean-inspired decor.
