19th century enamelled earthenware salad bowl

The enameled earthenware bowl is in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips. This is a very beautiful piece of orleans pottery, called "cul-noir", because of the dark brown enamels that were used to protect the exterior. These traditional potteries were intended for culinary use. The cracked interior, very typical of this type of piece, is original. It should be noted that it is quite rare to find "cul-noir" pottery from this period in such a state of preservation. French pottery production dating from the mid-19th century.
