Nineteenth century portrait painting dated 1877

Superb oil on canvas, nineteenth century portrait in its original frame in gilded wood. Dated on the back of march 9, 1877 and signed j.l. Nicolas (see photo back of the painting). Portrait of a young woman wearing a wooden cross around her neck. In excellent condition. Note a small lack at the level of the frame in the left corner at the bottom of the table. There are some signs of restoration at the level of the painting very little visible. A nice portrait very decorative! Size: height: 54cm. Width: 44, 5cm. Depth: 3.2cm.
