Vintage Marais Pottery style flower pitcher

A pottery that smells of holidays in charente: this pretty pot-bellied pitcher in crackled earthenware is decorated with large hand-painted stylized flowers. In a naive and playful style, we find all the spirit of the poteries des marais in pons: a joyful and popular artisanal production, very fashionable in the 60s–80s. A beautiful white earthenware with a slight crackled glaze, hand-painted floral decoration ideal as a rustic vase or simply placed on a summer table. Attributed to the poterie des marais – unsigned good general vintage condition, some natural marks related to time. A molding defect on the foot (very slight dent) and a mini chip on the foot.
