Impressive large Florence Knoll dining table made with walnut veneer and steel leg, 1960s. An architectural example of midcentury American design, this large version of the Model 2480 table was designed by Florence Knoll in 1961 for Knoll International. This particular table is executed in generous proportions, measuring 244 X 137 cm, which is rare to find. The oval top is finished in a beautifully grained walnut veneer. The leg is made of a welded steel four-star base in polished chrome. The construction is sophisticated and functional, created to withstand daily use while maintaining its elegance. The table is in very good original condition with minor surface wear according to age and usage, as shown in the pictures. Originally designed as a versatile executive desk or conference table, this table is also perfect as a dining table. Elevate your dining space or meeting space with this impressive table.
