Antique molded earthenware plate – bird and wheat wheat decoration – barbotine style

Description: A beautiful antique molded earthenware plate, decorated with a bird in relief within a landscape of foliage, and bordered with a wheat motif. Deep green/yellow glaze, typical of French barbotine ware from the late 19th to early 20th century. Lovely natural crackling in the glaze, giving it a beautiful period patina. Stamped 31/215 on the back. A perfect piece for wall decoration, in a kitchen, or in a country chic or bohemian interior. ✔ Dimensions. • Diameter: 20.5 cm. ✔ Condition. Very good overall condition. Some minor glaze irregularities, normal for antique earthenware.
