Italian Vintage Floor Lamp Zagar Terra by Silvio Carpani for Stilnovo, 1970s

Rare Stilnovo floor lamp based on a design by Silvio Carpani from the 1970s. A tall, rectangular stela with sharp contours floats above the ground. The surface of the long sides is dotted with continuous grooves. At the top of the stela is the lamp head. The body of the lamp discreetly merges into the head with a small joint and a red knot marking the separation. The lamp is entirely black with selected red details contrasting with the black body. The lamp head can tilt up to 90 degrees, functioning as a ceiling projector or wall spotlight. The base is striking with fine red legs blending into cylindrical pads, lifting the lamp off the ground, making it light and mobile. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of use.
