Round extendable dining table in Louis XV style made of wood.

Round extendable dining table in Louis XV style, probably dating from the first half of the 20th century, featuring characteristic cabriole legs and a refined top with a geometric marquetry pattern. Made from a wood with pronounced grain reminiscent of oak, it stands out for its warm tones and ingenious system for accommodating extensions for entertaining. Its harmonious proportions will easily find a place at the centre of a family dining room or a bright living space. Condition: The furniture is sound, stable, and perfectly functional, with the extension mechanism operating correctly. The top and structure display a well-maintained patina, marked by a few superficial micro-scratches from use and very discreet nuances on the varnish (visible in photos). There are tiny marks of authenticity that do not detract from the solidity or remarkable charm of this antique table.
