Flying table in Louis XV style with floral marquetry and bronze fittings.
Charming side table (or occasional table) in Louis XV style, made in the second half of the 20th century. Its top with a wavy edge features a superb floral marquetry work (bouquet of roses and foliage in contrasting woods) highlighted by a veneer arranged in a frieze/sun pattern. It rests on four very elegant curved legs, adorned with original bronze shoe fittings. Thanks to its balanced proportions, it will easily find its place as a side table, elegant bedside table, or occasional table in a living room. Condition: Overall in beautiful condition with a superb natural patina. Note some slight signs of age that testify to its history: discreet lifts/localised veneer losses on the edge of the top and at the top of one leg (see detailed photos). The structure is perfectly stable and sound. Dimensions: Height: 53.5 cm. Width/Diameter of the top: 64.5 cm.
