Pair of antique cloisonné ceramic vases with polychrome floral decoration, 19th century. Superb pair of antique vases originating from Asia, made of cloisonné ceramic with polychrome vegetal and floral painting, likely from Japan (Totai Shippo technique). They are mounted on a bronze base with four feet. The vases have beautiful volumes, and the colours and decorations are rich, making them a stunning element of interior decoration. They have a lot of character. Dimensions: Height: 30.8 cm. Base approximately 14 cm. Width at the belly: 14.5 cm. Opening: 10.5 cm. Colours: shades of light blue, lapis lazuli blue, burgundy, pink, green, and touches of white. Total weight of the vases approximately 4 kilos. Beautiful structure, no fragility, no cracks, no chips. Aging appearance, colours are slightly dulled, surface wear with slight nicks present. Nice appearance with delicate decorations and friezes.
