1960s desk lamp by Peter Nelson aluminium desk lamp mid century modern desk lamp

Peter Nelson aluminium single spot desk lamp from the early 1960s. This wonderful desk lamp was designed by Peter Nelson and produced by Architectural Lighting Ltd. It features a single spot light (this lamp has the longer version), and is a fully adjustable lamp that moves up and down the rod and also tilts to the required angle. Peter Nelson lamps are exceptionally good quality, extremely well engineered, and made from solid aluminium. This lamp is in excellent original condition, with a few signs of wear to the base. The lamp dates from the early 1960s. The base measures 18cm in diameter, the shade measures 10cm in diameter and 17cm long, and the lamp is 60cm tall.
