Striking tripod dining table by Gerard Geytenbeek produced by AZS Meubelen in the Netherlands in the 1960s. The table is executed in richly grained wenge. A powerful example of Dutch modernism, the table combines bold geometry with exceptional craftsmanship. The round tabletop is composed of three carefully matched segments that converge in a subtle triangular formation at the center. The dramatic, expressive grain of the wenge creates a vivid surface with deep tonal contrasts, ranging from warm amber hues to dark, almost black veining.
