Modern Spanish Venetian mirror in Hollywood Regency style, 1989. Elegant wall mirror handmade in Spain in the late 1980s, in the modern Venetian style of the late 20th century, featuring a more geometric and architectural approach to traditional Venetian mirror making. The rectangular frame combines iridescent glass and mirror panels with brass mounts. The outer border is made of iridescent glass in soft colours of lilac, purple, blue, and pink, while the inner border consists of bevelled mirror tiles surrounding the central mirror plate. Small decorative brass mounts accentuate each joint, adding warmth and definition to the geometric composition. The combination of coloured glass, bevelled mirror, and brass gives the piece a refined character from the 1980s, comfortably situated between modern Venetian and Hollywood Regency styles. Its compact proportions make it particularly versatile above a console, vanity, or chest of drawers, or in an entrance hall, bedroom, dressing room, or bathroom. A vintage decorative mirror with enough presence to stand alone while remaining easy to integrate into both classic and more contemporary interiors. Made in Spain in the late 1980s.
