Moroccan Artisan Mirror in Brass and Bone - Moorish Style

Superb wall mirror typical of Eastern craftsmanship, probably originating from Morocco. Designed in the mid-20th century (1950s-1970s), it is a beautiful example of the artisanal know-how of the Maghreb. The frame is made of repoussé brass with a decoration of beads and chiselled twists. It is adorned with marquetry inlays of camel bone, alternating between pure white and honeyed flame tones. The back is closed with an original metal plate featuring its suspension ring. Note a slight oxidation (pitting) visible at the bottom of the mirror, a detail that enhances its vintage charm and historical character without detracting from the overall aesthetic.
