Dining table (140) in marble model T69 by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno, 1963

Magnificent vintage round marble table, model T69 born from the collaboration between the Italian designers Osvaldo Borsani (1911-1985) and Eugenio Gerli (1923-2013) in 1963, and distributed by Tecno (Milano). Base composed of four curved legs in black varnished cast aluminum on the inside and satin stainless steel on the outside, on which rests a very large veined marble top (rare to find in this diameter of 140 cm, which can accommodate 8 people) with an airplane wing edge (Knoll / Saarinen type) and 3 cm thick (the top alone therefore weighs about 150 kilos). Very slight signs of wear due to its 60 years: some micro-chips on the edge, see photo (made with flash, sorry) with little finger next to it for scale, but overall in superb general condition.
