Superb antique glass-fronted library in solid wood (walnut), richly carved, dating from the late 19th century. It features an elegant Renaissance / Henry II style, with turned columns, carved panels, and a decorative pediment topped with a mask. This piece of furniture was very common in large bourgeois homes and private libraries during the Third Republic. The unit consists of three glass doors with keys, allowing for the display of books, glassware, or collectibles. The interior is equipped with several shelves (7 in the centre and 6 on the two ends) that are adjustable on brackets, allowing for the spacing between them to be modified. The lower part is decorated with carved panels. A very beautiful decorative piece, ideal for a living room, a library, a character home, or a business. You also have the option to transform it into a Provençal-style piece of furniture (see the last photo, projection created using artificial intelligence), perfect for integrating into a Provençal house, a country home, or a charming interior with a Mediterranean style, which will bring a touch of elegance and prestige to your space. Dimensions: Height: 283cm. Width: 215cm. Depth: 45.5cm. Antique furniture in generally good condition with slight signs of wear. To be collected on site as the furniture is heavy.
