Rare large octagonal bonbonnière in Longwy earthenware, made around 1925, decorated with a parrot in a floral landscape. Magnificent decoration in cloisonné enamels, combining turquoise, deep blue, black, beige, and yellow. The lid features a parrot perched on a branch, surrounded by stylised vegetation. The sides are adorned with decorative friezes characteristic of Longwy's Art Deco production. The piece is referenced under the marking: Bonb. 1192 – D. 4040 – Longwy France. This model is listed as an Art Deco bonbonnière from Longwy dating from around 1925. Examples bearing exactly these references and this decoration are noted in the art market. Dimensions: approximately 14 × 14 × 7 cm. Condition: The bonbonnière is in generally good condition with the characteristic crazing of Longwy enamel, as well as signs of use and marks related to its age. Notably: there is a significant chip on the lower edge, clearly visible in the photographs. There are also a few small defects and signs of use.
