Vintage glazed terracotta ceramic, signed Yvon Roy, Ateliers Montgolfier - 1960s

This beautiful ceramic, dating from the 1960s, is signed by the French ceramist Yvon Roy, from the Montgolfier art workshops in Durtal, Anjou. Bottle-shaped, in brown glazed terracotta with a glossy finish, it features a stylized floral decoration, with an incised white effect and shades of blue-green, as well as a play of horizontal lines in the lower part in the same colors. The surface of the enamel has very pretty irregular shades of dark brown and blue-green, which further reinforces the artistic aspect of the piece. The interior of the neck is also blue-green. An elegant vintage ceramic, with strong decorative power, with a beautiful signature. Signed at the tip under the base "yr" (yvon roy) and "france" 20th century - 1960s. Height: 27 cm.
