The piece is part of the permanent collection of the Centre Pompidou in Paris. White lacquered aluminium disc reflector supported by a three-arm structure in black lacquered metal, an absolute formal minimalism, a luminous sculpture of striking graphic elegance. Sarfatti designed each new light fixture in direct response to the introduction of a new bulb on the market; it is precisely this radical functionalist approach that makes each model an object of total coherence and formal necessity.
