BLACK METAL PENDANT LAMP WITH DIFFUSER BY LOUIS KALFF FOR PHILIPS, 1950S

Large Louis Kalff pendant ornament “DD 49 E/00” designed for Philips, 1956. A black metal pendant lamp with diffuser designed by the Philips design team led by Louis Kalff. This beautiful lamp provides direct light downwards and indirect light on the ceiling. The small holes in the diffuser create a very nice light effect. The lamp holds a total of four incandescent, LED or halogen bulbs (porcelain fittings, E27). The bottom lamp can be switched separately if necessary. The condition of this vintage pendant lamp is still good and original with normal traces of use (see photos). This pendant lamp has been cleaned and the wiring has been checked by an electrician.
