Superb Louis XV bergère known as "à la Reine, " made of finely carved and moulded beech, showcasing the virtuosity of Parisian workshops from the 18th century. The flat backrest is adorned with a central carved flower and scrollwork, with armrests extended into whip-like consoles. The moulded, carved, and shaped belt, with curved legs sculpted with small flowers and finished with snail-like scrolls. The upholstery has been redone in the traditional style, featuring a luminous beige fabric with silver-grey floral patterns, studded all over the armchair. Excellent condition after restoration. Period: mid-18th century. Reference: 589V.
