Set of 8 vintage Badonviller flat plates – Bird design, mint green and gold embellishment.

Very nice set of 8 vintage flat plates in earthenware, attributed to the Fénal factory in Badonviller, probably dating from the 1950s. They feature a charming polychrome design depicting two birds perched on flowering branches, surrounded by a wide mint green rim with a twisted relief, enhanced by delicate golden friezes. A delightful set, with soft colours and a retro style, ideal for a lovely vintage table or chic country decoration. Plates are unmarked, attributed to Badonviller by comparison with identical models. Overall vintage condition, with some signs of age: - The plates may have small chips. - The bird motifs may be more or less faded depending on the plates. - There are some usage scratches and wear to the gilding.
