Oil on canvas Barges on the Seine, G. Delaire, 20th century

Oil on canvas depicting barges moored on the Seine, in an environment that is both wooded and urban. The artist presents an expressive painting, characterised by bold outlines and a great modernity in the choice of hues and the use of flat areas. The composition, dynamic and streamlined, reflects a decidedly contemporary approach to river landscapes. Signed G. Delaire (French artist) in the lower left. A second painting on the same theme is also available in our gallery, offering the possibility to create a pair. Dimensions: 81 cm - 65 cm - 3 cm.
