A beautiful pair of French Empire style early 20th-century black lacquered metal and parcel gilt bronze table lamps with pagoda silk shades. These high-quality chic and stylish neoclassical style light fixtures have an attractive form featuring black enamel bellied columns with gilt bronze finials carved in the form of fluted stylized leaves raised on plinth bases enriched by an ormolu band, and one lamp with giltwood carved rosettes. Gold and black alternate harmoniously in these lamps that recall Maison Jansen's lavish vintage design. Each lamp features two lights and adjustable bulbs which can move up and down. These stylish lamps would work well in a variety of interiors and rooms. Perfect as desk lamps or sophisticated light glow on a chest or console.
