Nx41 Wood And Curved Glass Wall Lamps By Louis Kalff For Philips, The Netherlands 1950S

Nx41 wood and curved glass wall lamps by louis kalff for philips, the netherlands, 1950s this elegant pair of nx41 wall lamps was designed by louis kalff for philips in the netherlands during the 1950s. The design beautifully reflects the refined and functional character of dutch postwar modernism, combining warm wood with softly curved opal glass. Each lamp features a continuous bent-wood frame with rounded corners, holding a sculptural piece of curved opal glass. The contrast between the natural wood grain and the satin-finished glass gives the lamps a distinctive yet harmonious appearance. When illuminated, the glass diffuses the light beautifully and creates a soft, warm glow both above and below. The lamps remain in good vintage condition, with age-related traces of use consistent with their age. An elegant and increasingly rare pair of dutch mid-century wall lamps.
