Cylindrical Beech Wood Wall Lamp Uno & Östen Kristiansson For Luxus, Sweden 1960S

cylindrical beech wood wall lamp by uno & östen kristiansson for luxus, sweden, 1960s rare wall lamp designed by uno & östen kristiansson for luxus, sweden, during the 1960s. the lamp features a solid beech wood wall mount paired with a cylindrical white acrylic shade that emits a warm and beautifully diffused light. a perfect example of the refined simplicity and natural materials for which scandinavian modern design is celebrated. the lamp retains its original luxus label and is equipped with a functional on/off switch discreetly positioned on the underside of the wooden wall bracket. the combination of the warm wood grain and the softly glowing shade results in a timeless and elegant appearance. the lamp remains in very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age and use consistent with its history. a beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find design by uno & östen kristiansson that works equally well as a bedside lamp, hallway light or atmospheric accent piece.
