Decorative porcelain plate MF tapestry design of Bayeux

A beautiful dish with a fine coloured decoration representing the famous Bayeux tapestry enhanced with gold. It is made of French porcelain stamped MF on the back and "création M.F." in the decoration, but I have not been able to trace the manufacturer, perhaps Morlent in Bayeux or MP Samie, a porcelain maker near Limoges. It is presumably a decorative plate to hang on the wall or to place in a china cabinet, but one could also imagine serving some hors d'oeuvres on a lovely table. The design of the stamp makes me think that this plate may date from the 1980s. It is in generally good condition, with no cracks or chips, but the gilding is worn in places and there are a few tiny losses, possibly original, in the decoration. This plate measures 28 cm in width including the handles, 26 cm in diameter, and has a maximum height of 3 cm at the edge.
