Small glazed earthenware dish attributed to the Menelika workshop in Switzerland. Circular in shape, it features a hand-painted design depicting a sailing boat navigating on a stylised sea. Made of glazed earthenware in blue-green tones on an ivory background, it stands out for the simplicity of its design and its poetic character. The maritime decoration, treated in a naive spirit, evokes the productions of the Menelika Art Pottery founded in Geneva by Hélène Imbert-Amoudruz and Charles Imbert. The piece is monogrammed "MK" and numbered on the reverse. Edition: attributed to Menelika, Switzerland, circa 1940-1960.
