This beautiful sculptural table lamp comes from the Danish family business Kirk, which specialises in woodturning, and was made in the 1980s. Crafted from solid pine, it highlights the natural warmth and character of Scandinavian woodwork. Its geometric and segmented construction accentuates the organic grain of the wood, while the faceted and tapered body forms a soft diamond-shaped silhouette that is both elegant and architectural. The base is constructed with slanted planes rather than a simple round or conical shape, giving the lamp a modern and sculptural presence. Despite its angular geometry, it maintains a soft and organic appearance due to its visible wood grain and warm hue. Symmetrical around its vertical axis and narrower at the top and bottom, it achieves visually balanced proportions that create a calm and harmonious form. Note: sold without a lampshade.
